Between 2007 to May 2012, I worked as a Content Creator for Edelman (the world’s largest Public Relations firm) in Chicago. In 2012, I created Belopotosky, LLC and have been rocking the world of freelance ever since! When I’m not blogging or designing, I can be found reading comic books and spoiling my dog, Bowie. Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, I moved to Chicago after attending Miami University. I have a constant thirst to find talent, art, people and design. Over the years, I had been fortunate enough to be trusted with the content creation of brands such as: Allstate, American Egg Board, American Heart Association, Autodesk, AXE, Best Buy (Rocketfish, Insignia), BlackBerry, Bunge, Burger King, Chevrolet, Coleman, eBay, Fuel Up to Play 60, Hilton (Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Conrad Hotels and Resorts), Humana, Illinois Bureau of Tourism, Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, Kellogg’s, Microsoft (XBOX), Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Inc., PayPal, Pfizer, SC Johnson (Glad, Pledge, Off!), Starbucks, Trojan, Unilever (Dove), Walmart.
By utilizing a variety of digital and traditional outlets, I have become fluent in multimedia communications. My ideas are unique because I’m dedicated to making sure each and every piece stands out from the crowd. I remain true to each respected brand while conveying individualized messaging by merging new trends with timeless techniques. With that, I ended up within the traditional print realm at GateHouse Media. As their Marketing Manager, I multitasked a wide variety of concurrent projects. Promoting internal products, producing large-scale events, reputation management, along with simple requests of adding fillers in the paper when to fill blank spots, were just a few of the items that I found myself doing on a daily basis. Frequently, I would meet with local community leaders within Canton, Ohio. I worked hand-in-hand with the Canton Chamber of Commerce to forge many events for the community. Meanwhile, I organized the sponsorship of the Stark County Fair, Pro Football Hall of Fame Grand Parade, The Canton Symphony Orchestra, The Canton Player’s Guild, Canton Museum of Art, Arts in Stark and many, many more nonprofit organizations. My main focus at GateHouse Media was to modernize the digital team in their use of social media and engagement.
