In 2008, Allstate launched “Keep the Drive High”, a program that launched in high school around the country. The program encouraged high school students to educate their peers about the dangers of teen driving, raise awareness about youth traffic safety and empower teens to take on the issue locally. In 2009, Allstate was awarded the U.S. Community Service Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for the Foundation’s and Allstate’s Teen Safe Driving Program. This award exemplified the highest ideals of corporate citizenship that promote better corporate-community relations and positive community development.
